Accounting — from arguing charges over email to financial transparency.
The problem
Invoices and accessorial charges got disputed by email, and Neo had no way to pay or dispute in-product. The BCO's finance people were chasing numbers through an account manager.

Listening to the finance experts
The main move was to interview finance experts and understand what matters specifically to the BCO finance persona. They deal mostly with payments, so the data prioritization had to be done just right: surface the payment-critical facts first, and group the related information together the way a finance person actually scans for it. Mapping the quote-to-invoice flow made the pain visible: charges lock in at booking, accessorials arrive later, and the argument starts.

The invoice standard, in Neo's clothes
An invoice has a specific standard structure internationally, and finance people read it on autopilot. So we aligned with that structure exactly, while keeping the UI in the signature WT/Neo branding: standard bones, Neo skin.

Statuses that move money
On the dashboard, the statuses were instrumental: issued, paid, due, past due at a glance. Partially paid was a new status we provided to our clients after running research, and it increased satisfaction with the product significantly — it's the state finance teams actually live in, and no one had given it to them before.

What shipped
The Quote Details view, a redesigned invoice-payable page, and the dashboard that puts invoicing KPIs in the hands of the BCO's financial decision-makers and processors.
