A world worth dating your way through.
Before Affections of Vissan was a game, it was a world — one I've been writing for years and serializing on Wattpad, where it built a following with no marketing at all. The dating sim was just the door I finally found into it: a way to let someone else walk around inside the story and make it theirs.
The court of four
Vissan is a vampire kingdom, and at its center is a court of four — Max, Kohan, Catarina, and Andam. The conceit that reframes the whole product: none of them is fixed as "the player" or "the love interest." Any of the four can be your avatar, and any of the remaining three can be the one you're pursuing. So each character has to hold up twice over — as a lens the player inhabits and as a person the player falls for. That's a much harder writing problem than one protagonist and a roster of romanceable NPCs, and it's exactly what makes the world feel alive from any seat.
One IP, three forms
The world holds together because it isn't only a game. Vissan is drawn from the novel — the game, the book, and the roadmap are one IP ecosystem, which means the setting already carries the internal consistency and emotional stakes a standalone dating sim usually has to fake. The novel work lives over in the Creative Writing building; this is the same world, pointed at something you can inhabit instead of only read.
