The artist
I started showing internationally before I ever showed at home: the VDNKh Expo Center in Moscow in 2012, then Kuala Lumpur's Wei-Ling Gallery and Limkokwing Gallery in 2015, then San Francisco from 2017, SOMArts and local venues. Between 2017 and 2019 I exhibited at Burning Man, painted a mural at Center Camp Café, and contributed to the collaborative project Memento Morium.
My work channels emotion, myth, and feminist themes into richly textured visuals: elemental patterns, celestial motifs, and architectural forms, with feminine silhouettes as guides that invite you into the mood of each piece. Some paintings have left the canvas entirely: a commissioned piece became a book cover its author loved enough to tattoo on his arm, and several of my own paintings have become my tattoos. Right now a new series is forming around my forthcoming novel Moon: elemental magic, astrology, and spiritualism.

Rays
2016–2017 · acrylic on canvas · 6 works
Rays started on evening walks along San Francisco's waterfront — the way neon beams lit the Ferry Building and the sails at the bay, pulling hidden architectural lines out of the dark. I translated that into sunset-colored backdrops crossed by crisp white rays, then borrowed Art Deco's stylized caryatids and set feminine silhouettes into the graphic ground. It first showed at Burning Man, then at 111 Minna in San Francisco, and led to a commission for the poetry book M — I painted the author and his muse in the same style for the cover.

Connection
2017–2018 · acrylic, resin & metallic on canvas · 7 pieces
This series began with Connection — two hands reaching across a dark void — painted while my marriage was unraveling: a fleeting glimpse of hope inside the despair. From there it turned toward nature for solace. California Spirit centers the California poppy as a symbol of life; Dive and Whale hold the peace and the angst of living by the Pacific. Most pieces hang vertically or horizontally either way — a quiet nod to how much a person can adapt.

Emotions
2018 · acrylic & metallic pigment on canvas · 2 works
Two quiet states of being, painted as fluid female silhouettes — eyes closed, bodies flowing. Dreaming and Contemplating are made in acrylic and metallic pigments that shift with the light, so the surface changes as you move past it. They're built to work like mirrors: still, vulnerable, waiting for the viewer to bring their own inner weather to them. Contemplating hung at 111 Minna in 2019.

Universe
2019 · acrylic, resin & metallic pigment on canvas · 7 paintings
What started as an experiment with resin turned into a constellation. By sealing crystals and glow-in-the-dark pigment into layered resin, I got luminous surfaces where stars, nebulae, and cosmic rivers seem to drift across the canvas. Glitter and unexpected textures add a playful sparkle — the paintings reward pausing, the way a familiar night sky hands you a new star every time you actually look.

Flow
watercolor & ink on paper
Flow came out of an urge to experiment with light, paper, and movement. Using watercolor and ink, I let the pigment stream and bleed, then traced feminine silhouettes inside the shifting forms. Each piece feels like a captured motion — soft, fluid, spontaneous — a study of how the body and the spirit move with change rather than against it.
